On February 14, 2014, a Hennessey Venom GT reached 270.49 miles per hour in a 2-mile stretch at Kennedy Space Station, making it the fastest vehicle in production in the world. This new record defeats the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport’s record of 269.86MPH.
While this record flip flops between the two companies motor companies more often than you would think, it is a cause for celebration for the American-based (Texas) business.
