KWQC Meteorologist Greg Dutra had his wallet stolen recently, which turns out to be quite sentimental to him. Read his post from Facebook below.
TO WHOMEVER STOLE MY WALLET: Hey there! It’s me, Greg. I know you have my wallet because you spent some of my money before I could lock down my cards. I’m not mad about that at all, actually. I get it back and you probably needed it more than I did. Thank you, by the way for taking my ID out and mailing it back to me. That shows you may feel guilty about what you did, or perhaps you were bragging to a friend and they were like ‘Oh boy that’s the weatherman people will bust you if you keep using his cards!’. Regardless, it shows you have some compassion and common sense. I’m going to try to appeal to that right now. Please, please mail back my wallet. I bought that wallet with the very first dollars I ever earned. I was 14 and washed dishes during the summer at a restaurant called ‘Cate’s Italian Garden’. It is incredibly important to me. Every time I look at it I remember that hard work and determination eventually will pay off. I don’t care who you are, and I have no interest in perusing charges against you. I just want you to mail my wallet back to KWQC at 805 Brady Street, Davenport. Thanks for your time…and if you’re not the person that stole my wallet if you could ‘like’ this status and ‘share’ it then hopefully it will show up in the feed of the person who did. Thank you all very much.
