As Drake’s So Far Gone mixtape turns five today, we look back at how timeless it remains and how it helped shift the paradigm of hip-hop. A healthy mix of drawn-out, brooding melodies and crisp rapping catapulted Drake into music stardom after this release and is one of the pinnacle albums of my early adulthood.
