Never thought I’d be posting a video clip from a Teen Choice Awards show, but Ashton delivered an incredible speech about life to the youth.

    1. I’m pretty sure that’s the sentiment most generations have about the ones that come after. Not that I disagree, at all… it’s usually true. Just sayin’ youth today aren’t the first.

  1. This is really worth sharing and taking the time to see. There are very few people who are really cool who are popular who actually stand up for Truth and things that are worthwhile, but I take my hat off to you Criss Ashton Kutcher. Well said and thank you for having the courage to stand up for things that are so worthwhile. “Youth are the leaders of tomorrow” and you have done a great job with helping them build a world worth living in by inspiring them with wisdom.

  2. Too bad those screaming girls weren’t listening because that’s exactly who he’s talking too. These kids don’t appreciate the advice that he is giving them. Really impressed and taken aback by Ashton Kutcher, he’s definitely turning a new leaf and I’m liking it!

    1. *Chris. By the way, just because the kids in the audience don’t appreciate what was said doesnt mean they represent everyone else in and around the same age group. There are ones who do appreciate his sentiments….like me.

  3. And I am so proud he came from good old Iowa where we teach kids to work hard, look for opportunities, be sexy, healthy and smart and build a future and make a difference. Our motto is ” Fields of Opportunities”. Start them in Iowa and then go all over the world and do well. Great video. Thanks for sharing.

  4. You, Ashton, joined my son in law’s Frat. House just as my son in law was leaving. Remember the Airliner?? Fun times.

    1. Brainwashed with what exactly??? What makes you so special? Oh bow down to the mighty perfect breaseball! Arrogance at its best, meaning you idiot! Keep your mouth shut! No one likes you based on your words you’ve said! Shame on you!

  5. I love how its the teen choice awards which airs on fox but the site said Nickelodeon but love what he said its so true

  6. Easily the best advice I’ve ever heard an adult giving to young folks. He didn’t talk down to them, he didn’t act as if he was better than… and he was sincere. Sexy, Smart, Thoughtful, Generous… I’d throw in “Kind” as well. *cheers… clink*

  7. Ok…I agree it was a great speech…I agree with all the things he said…and I really think youth need this…BUT am I the only one who saw this as a promotion for the Steve Jobs Movie??

  8. Too bad they couldn’t stop cheering for a little while and just listen to what he was saying. Good speech there Chris.

  9. You know else has words of wisdom? Socrates, Aristotle, Faulkner, Hemingway, Camus, Locke, Cage, ….. This wouldn’t seem so enlightening if people read literature and history. All in all kudos for using the opportunity to say what he did.

  10. He was speaking to a generation that needs to hear it! Don’t take those words lightly……they ARE THE KEYS TO LIFE! Take it from a 36 year old father of two.

    1. What he was telling the kids is nothing but the truth, Take this from an old guy of 80 years. father, grand father, great grand father.

  11. Stop the senseless potato hatred! This is absolutely ridiculous the potato nation has taken too much abuse…. I will film your mother getting fucked with a potato, then I will fuck her with a potato and impregnate her with triplets. I will then baptize her bastard 1st potato child in potato juice, I will drink the virgin potato blood of her womb you fucking jews. I will raise her second child as christian but then convert him to judaism so I can call him a fucking potato jew! The third child will be sold off in Thailand as a child potato sex slave for sexual jewish pedophiles to continually assault with potatoes…. So think about these consequences before you talk shit about potato filming equipment. It may be primitive but it works!!!!

  12. I would like to sincerely apologize for my rude, arrogant comments. I was in the heat of the moment while writing that about the potatoes. I for one have never heard of the potato camera meme joke. Thanks for those who made that more clear to me. However, being that I now apologized, I don’t appreciate the people calling me names and being more mean than I was originally. Yes you’re upset with my comment, but I don’t see how that gives you permission to insult me. We’re all human beings and adults here so please act like a child. Please do not cyber bully me. It’s all of you(who commented back to me)against me. Does that sound pleasant and right to you? At least be more constructive instead of throwing back negativity. It seems like many of you haven’t listened to Ashton’s advice. You’ll need it! Have a nice day :)

  13. I apologize everyone. That was rude and mean of me. With that said, the ones who replied back to me negatively were not needed. Don’t cyber bully me thanks. Just because I was mean, doesn’t give you permission to bully me. Does that even sound right and good to you? I hope not! Control your anger people and give your keyboards a rest. Take Ashton’s wisdom with you too since that went over your heads. I thank the people who explained the potato meme joke.

  14. Thankyou in advance and I hope to talk to you more often.
    All the best
    Steven
